In Minnesota, Universal Free School Meals is the law. All public schools provide free breakfast and lunch meals to all Minnesota students.

What does this mean for my child?

Community Education’s Adventure Center provides care for students before and after school, during many non-school days and throughout the summer.

How can parents get involved?

Are there rules around student attendance?

Attendance matters! We know that student success is tied closely with school attendance. Parents are encouraged to review policies around attendance and have conversations with their learners about the importance of being present. To report an absence, call your student’s school or submit an absence request through Skyward Family Access. Excused absences must be reported within 48 hours. Visit individual school attendance pages for more information.
